**Cancellation Fee Policy for Christine Alexander’s Hair Salon:**

 

Hello, to  our valued clients!

 

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. To ensure we can accommodate all our clients and minimize any disruptions, we kindly ask for your cooperation with our cancellation fee policy:

 

1. **Cancellation Fee**Appointments canceled more than 48 hours in advance will not incur a cancellation fee. Appointments canceled between 48 and 24 hours prior to the scheduled time will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without prior notification (no-show) will be charged 100% of the scheduled service cost.

 

2. **Rescheduling**: If you need to change your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Please call the salon directly and 905 842 9432. If we are unable to answer, please leave a voicemail. While we do send text message reminders; this is an automated service and texting this number does not reach us directly and is therefore not considered a proper method of cancellation.

 

3. **Payment of Fee**: To secure your appointment, we now require a credit card number at the time of booking. This card will only be used in the event that our cancellation policy is not followed. Without providing a card number, we will not be able to hold your appointment. Thank you for your understanding.

 

 

4. **Repeat Offenders**: Clients who frequently miss appointments or cancel without sufficient notice may be required to prepay for future appointments or may be refused service.

 

 

5. **Unprepared Clients**: We kindly request that all curly-haired clients arrive at their appointments with their hair worn down and fully dry in its natural state. Arriving with your hair wet, in a bun, ponytail, braid, or matted may hinder our ability to perform the service correctly. In such cases, we may need to reschedule the appointment.

 

Please note that, as our administrative team would have informed you of this requirement, a potential charge may still apply if the service cannot be completed from improper preparation.
